  1. Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Version 2.0

This is the new version of the Los Angeles Coliseum, completely rebuilt from scratch. The dimensions are all correct, the stands have been completely built from scratch, the arches in the outfield have been added, and the foul ground is accurate. Also, the lighting standards are included, along with the broadcast booth. All told, this took countless hours of tweaking, building, and general bleariness at staring at tiny little dots until the wee hours of the morning. I hope you enjoy.

A word of caution: The park still has some glaring issues. 1). there are no crowds, since adding them would be an insane job I wouldn't wish on anybody. 2). In some places there are disappearing wall / graphic problems. I've done my best to fix them, but my best just isn't quite good enough. My apologies. 3). The grass is screwed up, but I have no other choice. 5). There is a weird teal light in center field that I cannot for the life of me remove, so it screws up the look in CF. and 6). players in the dugout still appear underground, and the bullpen camera pans are all screwed up. If anyone wants to change any of these, be my guest.

Special Thanks: To my beta testers, Stecropper, powerhouse, Brooklyn, and Mark, endless thanks.
To Andrew Clem, whose layout page I consult daily.
To my girlfriend, for letting me spend endless hours on this.

Installation: Copy the file into the ..datastadium folder, it will overwrite Spring Training Stadium 2. Or, rename the file to another stadium you wish to overwrite instead. If you want to backup the stadium you replace, its on MVP 05 Disc 2.
    Enjoy.

  2. Baltimore Memorial Stadium by Sean O updated by evilselig

Memorial Stadium By Sean O (updated by evilselig) v1.1

First of all, let me thank Sean O for letting this defunct stadium live on again! Your work is amazing and I'm not just saying that.

Anyway, I asked Sean if I could do a little graphical mod of this stadium and he said it was ok, so here it is. I'm sure billboard signs are the last thing on Seans mind after he does all the Oediting, etc. just to make the stadium look real! So here is an update of Memorial Stadium with some spiced up scoreboard graphics.

Overwrite aa01nite.big or whatever stadium of your choice and play. Remember to back up the original stadium file.

    Have fun! evilselig

  4. Ebbets Field - Brooklyn - Final version 2.99

Please note: There were a couple of things we missed in our "final" version. See changes below. Rendering of Ebbets Field - Brooklyn circa 1950s. Credits - I would especially like to thank Hyman for his work with OEdit and his reconfiuring and testing of the collision detection data and some nice additional graphic work. Also, once again thanks to Rolie for getting this all started (you'll recognize a couple of your signs yet in left). Majority of artwork by PaulW. Sky texture by Olyrunner (used by permission). Changes from version 2.9 Aligned all the signs properly on the left field wall and added a couple new ones Changed several camera angles for cut views Added a special celebrity face to the crowd Changes from version 2.5 Fixed a number of camera bugs Several graphics changes including accurate representation of all buildings on Bedford Ave and new background image. Scoreboard now set out from right field wall Note: Copy the new aaa1nite.txt file into your ...mvp/data folder for camera changes. Installation: Copy the file aaa1nite.big into you Mvp../data/stadium folder. Copy the file aaa1nite.txt into your ...mvp/data folder. Thats it. Secect AAA Stadium One Night from the game to use Ebbets. If you wish to replace another stadium simply rename both of the included files to the corresponding name used by EA. Enjoy! Its finally here. This release includes both DAY and NIGHT versions of the stadium. Enjoy the Jays!! NOTE: You are free to modify this mod, use graphics inside, etc as long as credit is given. I add this because I don't want people waiting for my permission to use my stuff in case I am not around. Props to: Pirate: Made this stadium possible with his stadium mod tutorial The Big O: Allowing me to use one of his graphics (ANC logo on the behind the plate advertisement frame) KSM: The netting behind home plate.

  7. Ebbets Field Brooklyn - Daytime

Ebbets Field - Brooklyn - Daytime Final by PaulW and Hyman This is the same Ebbets Field as the last release except for the following changes: 1. Now a daytime - as opposed to twilight park. Added new - and hopefully much improved light standards (I was never happy with my old ones) 2. Added dynamic American flags to top of left field grandstand as in the real Ebbets 3. Fixed a bug where homeruns hitting Bedford Ave. behind right field stands would disappear when hitting or rolling on street. 4. Improved outside shot of Ebbets for cutaway camera view Rendering of Ebbets Field - Brooklyn circa 1950's. Credits - I would especially like to thank Hyman for his work with OEdit and his reconfiuring and testing of the collision detection data. Also, once again thanks to Rolie for getting this all started (you'll recognize a couple of your signs yet in left). Majority of artwork by PaulW. Updates and additions from version 1.0: Added/enhanced the screen in front of the right field pavilion. Balls must now clear the screen to be a homerun - collision data has been modified accordingly. Historical note: The screen was added in 1929. Updated the signs in right field for St. Louis Cardinals Added a photographic background panorama. Moved the flag pole into play in center field NOTE: The signs in left field, scoreboard, sky, building textures, and stadium lighting are all from Crowe1's original version. 9. Hadlock Field: 2002 v. 1.0

After months of work, the first version of Hadlock Field 2002 is released. This is by no means a final version, but it is very playable. MINOR ISSUES: There are a few objects that will disappear at some angles, most notably the lower CF wall. The wall.dat is incomplete; fielders can enter some of the picnic area in RF and some balls that do not clear the LF fence may be called a home run (not exactly known if this is true). THANKS: SeanO- For creating the base version with accurate dimensions, and granting permission to me to release this version. DYosua- For being my beta tester and primary source of encouragement to keep going. All who responded in the preview thread on the MVPMods message board. CONTENTS OF THIS .ZIP: "aa03nite.big" TO BE ADDED: Hopefully, in the next version, the home run lighthouse will be included, and graphical issues will be resolved. The overflow section in left field should also be included. Thank you for downloading Hadlock Field: 2002 and enjoy!

  11. Victory Field by Pirate

Updates: Recreated Victory Field in Indianapolis, IN. It is the home of the Indians, the AAA affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. I added so much and took a lot away it's mostly a new stadium. There are some inacuarcies, but mostly in the crowd and things that do not matter as much. NOTE: It will replace the second AA, yes double A, stadium. That is also the home of Waterfront Park, so feel free to rename it and drop it in where you want. INSTALLATION: Unzip the file and extract to your C:Program FilesEA SPORTSMVP Baseball 2005datastadium folder. Make sure they go into your stadium folder. You will have to overwrite. Backup your files. I think that is all enjoy... Pirate jaredhartung@gmail.com

  17. Ebbets Field - Brooklyn - Version 3.0

Ebbets Field - Brooklyn Version 3.0 by PaulW and Hyman Major upgrade of previous Ebbet's field versions. New features include: 1) Completely reconfigured stands to correct height and alignment including new collision data 2) Fully working scoreboard 3) Correct grandstand color scheme 4) Lots of graphic updates including hi-res screen, new hi-resolution right-field buildings, stadium steel work and more 5) New field, sky and lighting textures. INSTALLATION: Copy the file aaa1nite.big into your ...mvp/data/stadium folder. Copy the file aaa1nite.txt into your ...mvp/data folder. You *must* use this file for the stadium to render properly. For best lighting open the file ...mvp/data/stadium/lighting.csv and make sure that aaa1nite (line 36) has the value 02day. This file will open with and can be edited by Microsoft Excel. When you click Save a dialogue box will appear. Just select yes in response to the message. CREDITS: Very special graditude goes out to Hyman whose work turned Ebbets from Shibe Park with Ebbet's Field features to the real Ebbet's Field. Fantastic work with OEdit in re-configuring the corners and outfield stands. There is no way this project could have been accomplished without all of the time and effort he put in. He did all of the real work. He is also responsible for the fun little feature of Ebbets - the '50s celebrity fans. He taught me so very, very much. Graphics and majority of art work by PaulW (yours truly). I got to do all the fun stuff like make signs, create some buildings and try to get as realistic a feel as possible. I'm just the "artsy" guy. Thanks to MVPMods for giving us a place to share our work and special thanks to Total Classics which allows dreamers like me to do a bit of baseball time-tripping. Conctact Info: paul.wangerin@cuw.edu Why is this file in WINRAR format instead of a simple Microsoft compressed folder? Because Microsoft did a number on my PC with one of their last security updates. It's still recovering. Way to go Microsoft.
