  1. 2015 Trade Deadline Roster and Portrait Pack

    First off, special thanks to:
BSU-FAN - most of the efforts in this update are from your hard work. Thank you.
74girl for providing the link to the Korean modders that helped make this possible. Proper credits pending.
raidersbball & scottybilly for all the great work on the portraits!(As well as the Korean modders that created great work on the updates!)
Kccitystar for being awesome - and the cover art is cool too
    installation
    README included and see below

Info from the previous releases that went into this:  http://www.mvpmods.com/files/file/8933-mlb2k15bybsufan/
    Released 2 June
    V6 UPDATES:
Updated all MLB and MiLB transactions through 5/29/15  Updated portrait ID's to match ScottyBilly's upcoming portrait pack. Fixed issue with colorfile import issue and imported Raidersbball's most recent colorfile in to this roster. Fixed issue where where Single A player Hunter Havery was still showing up in two organizations. Includes all updates from prior releases.   IMPORTANT NOTE:  I have discovered an issue with Michael Morse which can cause a franchise to crash if you don't have him up on a MLB squad when starting the regular season of a franchise. If he is in FA or the minors when the regular season starts in franchise mode your game will crash after the world series is over. This happens with all rosters on MLB2K12 including the default 2K rosters. That is why this roster has Michael Morse up on the MLB squad(even though he is currently on the 15 day DL in real life) and the Marlins have 26 men on their MLB squad. Once the regular season starts you can send Morse without any issues.
    V5 UPDATES:
Fixed minor issue where about a dozen Single-A players appeared in the incorrect organizations. (Thanks to ScottyBilly for pointing this issue out quickly.) Includes all updates from V4  V4 UPDATES:
Updated all MLB and MiLB trades and transactions through 5/28/15 Updated all batting orders and pitching rotations through 5/28/15 Added in 150+ new prospects and minor leaguers with accurate player ratings and likenesses. Updated all MLB coaching changes through 5/28/15. Adjusted many player ratings to better match 2015 performances. Updated all portrait ID's and cyberfaces to match ScottyBilly's most recent micro portrait pack that can be found in this thread here. Updated gear, body types, batting stances, jersey numbers, and other small details on MANY players. Even more pitching repertoires and pitch speeds updated or corrected. Fixed all known/reported misspellings, issues, or crashes. MyPlayer and Create a players now work without issue and you can once again edit create-a-player/MyPlayer faces in game just as you could with the default 2K rosters.                                                                                                                                                              V3 Updates:
Updated all MLB transactions through 4/10/15 (All batting orders, pitching rotations, and 25 man rosters have been left as was on opening day)
Updated all MLB ballparks max capacities for stadiums.
Corrected cyberface ID for Terry Francona.
Corrected basecoaches so they no longer wear jackets. (Also you can see the correct last names of real life base coaches on backs of jerseys now for all 30 teams)
Removed several players from rookie eligibility that no longer qualified for rookie status.
Fixed several other small issues discovered from the community:
Fixed My Player mode with accomplishments showing up right after beginning your career.
Dodger's pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu now bats right handed as in real life.

    V2 Updates:
*Fixed a few duplicate portrait ID's. This roster now has each player with a different portrait ID # assigned.
(This means modders will be able to assign an individual portrait to each player in the roster if they so choose.)
    *Fixed a few misspelled names.
    *Updated transactions though 4/7/15.
*Corrected Cubs' roster to match correct Opening Day 25 man roster.

    V1 (OPENING DAY ROSTER)
*In-depth update to player ratings on over 1200 players as of 4/4/15!
*Accurate rosters, line-ups, and pitching rotations as of 4/6/15
*Updated all MLB player stats through the 2014 season!!! Career stats will accumulate correctly when playing franchise games!
*Updated all MLB and minor league transactions as of 4/7/15.
*Roster includes accurate 2015 MLB schedule for franchise play.
*Updated all player salaries, contract lengths, and extensions as of 4/7/15
*Updated any changes to minor league team names, affiliations, and logo id's.
*Updated all MLB coaches, scouts, and trainers.
*Fixed franchise crash after during staff resigning period after 7 seasons!
*All minor league players rated above a 55 overall are real and in the correct organizations as of 4/7/15.
*The ability to change skintone color via in-game player editor remains. (updated any known skin-tone mismatch issues)
*Updated cyber face ID #'s to match the current mods released on MVPmods. (Some players outside the 25 man rosters may still need cyber-face numbers changed to match all faces released on MVPmods.com)
*Updated dozens of more pitching repertoires to match those of the real life pitchers.
*Updated all jersey #'s for the 2015 season.
*Updated lots of gear to match what many star players are currently wearing.
*A large amount of hours were spent testing sliders and tweaking little things to create a much more realistic gameplay/sim experience.

All game modes (Franchise, My-Player, Create-A-Team) currently work with no known issues or crashes!
Please report any errors or crashes to the support thread for this file.

I would highly suggest downloading all player faces and face packs released to date before using this roster. It will get rid of pretty much all of the generic cyber-faces!

  4. FEB1sBSUFAN Jose Abreu Fixed

Allow me to start by saying this WOW how much goes into making a roster and I only touched the surface. I think we all need to really think the roster editors for there amaziningly hard work. Until I started on this I never even began to understand how much work they put into this stuff. My respect for you guys just went up x10.

Now about this roster. I can't begin to take even half the credit for this. This was the work of BSUFAN from the end of the 2013 season. So it is NOT his most up to date one.Or one that he did this past season But as this was the roster I use it's the one I worked with. It was also updated in May of 2014 by Greg82. So please give them 99.9% of all the credit. THANK YOU BSUFAN AND Greg82

What I did was over the course of MANY hours go to each teams 40 man roster and make sure as best as I could the every player that I could was in the right team or right organization. I do know their are some players missing so this isn't 100% the best. But I thought it might be something to hold people over until the experts get their rosters out.

Verison 2 fixes Jose Abreu face and portrait thanks to wichystar for the feedback
Install this like any other roster.

If you never have installed a roster before then this is the easiest way I know of how to expalin
1 . download and extract the file then right click and copy then Hold the windows key and R to open the run command
    2. In the search bar of run type in the fallowing appdata and press enter
    3. select the fallowing folders in this order roaming . 2ksports/ mlb2k12/ saves
    4. paste the file
    5. Start the game and load the roster
    6 enjoy

    V4
Changed portrait ID's on any duplicate portraits.(This will enable portrait makers to make portraits for any and all players)
UPDATED ALL TRADES AND TRANSACTIONS AS OF 8/6/14
Updated all batting line-ups and pitching rotations as of 8/6/14
Updated numerous small details such as player numbers and positions.
Updated all cyberface Id's to match any cyberfaces released on MVPmods.com as of 8/6/14

    V3
Added in 40+ additional create-a-player(CAP) slots
Added in 75+ additional create-a-team (CAT) slots
Updated all MLB transactions as of 7/16/14
Updated all Minor League transactions as of 7/16/14
Created 100+ new real players to fill up minor league rosters (Most teams from MLB to AA now have 24 or more players on each roster)
Fixed many small errors throughout the entire roster (miss spellings, duplicate players, incorrect portraits, etc.)
Updated more player ratings to closely match real life abilities

I spent numerous hours once again trying to eradicate the staff resigning issue with no success.
So as of now you will still have to manually resign all "staff" positions after 7 seasons in franchise mode to continue on. Attempting to sim past this part after the 7th season will cause the game to crash to desktop. Resigning all staff in game takes about 15 mins but will allow you to continue on to your next season and further. Another option is using the reditors roster editor and extend the staff contracts there. This takes less than 5 mins, but does require the guru licence to accomplish.

    V2

Updated all transactions as of 6/27/14
Updated line-ups, pitching rotations as of 6/27/14
Updated all cyberface ID #'s to match cyberfaces released on MVPmods.com as of 6/27/14
Updated team colors for Astro's and Indians to match those of real life.
Added in and updated a few prospects to match their current ratings.
Changed all staff contracts to 7 years. This will allow a franchise to be played for 7 seasons crash free until you will need to manually sign all staff contracts or extend them using reditor to get by the crash and continue to the next season.
Added in 3 more blank create-a-player slots for those of you that want to add yourselves in the game
Includes all prior updates from V1 listed below.

This roster is a massive project with hundreds and hundreds of hours poured into it. Here is a quick over view of what this roster includes. This list is only some of what was updated. Too much to even list...I'm gonna make this quick so I can get to playing! If you know my work..you know what to expect.

*Updated player ratings on over 1200 players!
*Accurate 25 man rosters, line-ups, and pitching rotations as of 6/23/14
*Updated any and all transactions as of 6/23/14
    *Added in correct 2014 schedule
*Updated all player salaries and contract lengths as of 6/24/14
*Updated any changes to minor league team names and logo id's (Ex: Akron Rubberducks)
*Updated all front office staffs including coaches, scouts, and trainers...also corrected contract lengths.
*Accurate minor league rosters. (This includes all AAA players, tons of AA players, and ALL major prospects as well)
*Added in the ability to change skintone color via in-game player editor. (Also updated any skintone mismatch issues)
*Changed over 1000 cyber face ID #'s to match the current mods released on MVPmods.
*Updated hundreds of pitching repertoires to match those of the real life pitchers.
    *Updated all jersey #'s
*Updated lots of gear to match what many star players are currently wearing. (Batting gloves, mits, glasses, etc.)
*Lots and lots of hours spent tweaking little things to create a much more realistic gameplay/sim experience. (Arm strengths, base running aggression levels, etc.)

These rosters are currently compatible with the latest portrait update but a few players still have missing or incorrect portraits. Overall though most 25 man rosters currently have correct portraits.

I would highly suggest downloading all player faces and face packs released to date before using this roster. It will get rid of pretty much all of the generic cyber-faces!

IMPORTANT: Currently there is one known crash when playing a franchise using these rosters but there is a work around. At the end of the season when you get to the "Staff resigning" period you wont be able to sim past this part. You will have to manually resign any of the expired contracts. Once you do you will be able to sim past any other of the off season tasks ahead and on to the next season. I have tested out tons and tons of ideas to fix this issue but more and more I am believing it has something to do with how the "staff" contracts are hard coded into the game. If you find anything out in regards to this issue please let me know.

As of now I am not letting anyone release ANY other version of this roster without prior permission from myself. This is to ensure quality control and to keep any crashes that may pop up easier to pin point and fix. Some methods of editing can cause horrendous issues that can reverse endless hours of work. I hope you all understand. When I feel like I am finished updating these rosters I will open them back up to the community to edit freely.

Injured, suspended or restricted players are to be found in the Minor Leagues.

  8. 2014 Ultimate Deadshot Roster (NYY Update Final)

This is my roster with updated MilB players and. I also changed Sabathia repertoire, which now includes the cutter, Kuroda's fastball velocity and Nova's delivery motion. I have also updated the rosters of in Trenton Thunderand Scranton/WIlkes-Barre Railriders with new players. Now it follows the EXACT same rosters of its real life counterparts. This is really time consuming as I have to rate the players myself so I hope you will appreciate my hard work. (Cyberfaces and Portraits have not been updated. If you find that the wrong portraits are very irritating, set the portrait number to 0 with Ty's Editor). Thanks for downloading and enjoy!

  12. 2014 Roster (BSU-FAN)

After the great roster maker BSU-FAN decided to step down from roster making, I have decided to update his roster. This roster updates the transactions and free agency( now only players playing in Japan, retired or remained unsigned remains in the free agency)and also includes international players e.g. Tanaka, Abreu, Guerrero with ratings based on the 2014 ZiPS projections( excludes Aledmys Diaz and Odrisamer Despaigne because I have no idea how to rate them) Please tell me which player is too overrated or underrated so that I can tweak their ratings. A big shoutout to BSU-FAN for providing the base ratings!

  15. BSUFAN2013UltimateRoster2

Finally it is here!!!!!!!!!!! It's better late than never. This is a full years worth of editing into one massive roster update. I want to give a massive thanks to WundaBreadz for his efforts early in this project. While I have edited and changed every player on this roster myself, I do know he spent many hours on things like the schedule and I don't want his efforts to go unnoticed here. Without him this roster wouldn't exist. Also a big thanks to everyone in the community for the support and awesome mods that keep me motivated to do this. While this will probably be my final roster it has been worth the endless hours of editing to finally start a franchise I plan on playing for years to come. I also have attached my very own difficulty slider that I believe goes perfectly with the rating system. For the best results with this slider you will need to be patient at the plate like a real hitter. Wait for you opportunity and work the counts. They will throw balls and walk you.

V2 Fixes the 2nd and 3rd year schedule problem in franchise mode. See support topic for more info.

Here is a list of what is included in this roster.
Updated ALL player ratings in EVERY organization!!!!!!!!!!!! This includes minor leagues as well. This means there are stat based accurate ratings on over 2,250 players!
All rosters and transactions are current as of 10/27/13 (Non-playoff teams' rosters are as they were on the final day of the regular season) I have updated most if not all major contract extensions to date as well.
Updated batting orders and pitching rotations as of 10/27/13
Hundreds of batting stances and pitching motions have been added in or updated.
Updated 2013 Schedule with the Astros in the American league. There are no crashes with this roster and you can play/sim multiple seasons. I have thoroughly tested it!
Added in hundreds of prospects with correct likenesses and tendencies. This includes pitch repertoires and player tendencies based on real life scouting reports.
Updated all manger and staff changes to the beginning of the 2013 season.
As mentioned at Operation Sports I changed anticipation rating to 0 on all players to make game run more smoothly. I have also noticed more realistic and varied reactions from fielders now as well.
Also changed all catcher ratings for "Blocking the plate" to 99. This was also discussed at Operation Sports and it makes the catcher stand between the runner and the plate now if the ball arrives early. Creating a much more realistic interaction from the runner and the catcher I too have found this to be a nice little improvement on overall gameplay.
Updated all "Team" stats from the 2012 season. (This doesn't mean all individual players..just the entire teams' stats)
Updated many generic player faces for prospects to look like their real life counterparts. This is also fully compatible with the cyber-face pack released by Wudl83 and is also compatible with most if not all cyber-faces released on MVPmods.com to date(This doesn't include ScottyBillys cyber-face packs since his were made for Wudl83's roster.)
Many many more little updates like correct player gear such as mitt colors or batting gloves. I spent a long time on little details everywhere to make the game just that much more realistic.

Here is what isn't in this roster:
This roster is not fully compatible with any portrait packs released to date. While it may have many that do match up with Raidersbball's pack there will be many others on the wrong players. this is something I will leave up to the community to fix if they so desire. I myself actually play with my portrait files taken out of the game so it just shows a 3D player head instead of the players portrait. Something I would suggest to you to try out.
While I have updated many cyberfaces... This roster still has many duplicate or generic cyberfaces. This again is something I will leave up to the community to improve upon if they so desire. (I would love for someone to update the Redsox players with their playoff beards...just an idea )
While I made an attempt I was only able to input the individual 2012 stats for 5 teams. This just was way to long of a process and would have delayed this project much longer. However the first 5 teams alphabetically do have a stat line labeled "12" with those players' correct and actual stats from the 2012 season.
A magical rating system that will make everyone happy. While I used an unbiased and stat based rating system, I know that there will still be those of you that don't agree with my ratings. To those of you that don't agree..don't use this rosters. It's an easy fix.

This roster is available for anyone to openly edit and re-release under one condition! You must put BSU somewhere in your rosters file name when releasing it publicly. This will be ensure my favorite team BSU will be represented for years to come(even if it is a college football team). For the hours and hours of time put into this project I don't believe this is too much to ask. Thanks and enjoy!

1_ I did was take a roster, will replace all forms of hitting each player, including your type of swing, the placement of the feet.
2_ I like to make the game as real as possible: thank God, I think he does, with these sliders the game is not monotone: D
3_ game with options like I was watching the game on tv, this means that if you change the cameras do not guarantee a real game because you'd be changing the perpestiva.

  18. BETA Wudl's rating edited roster

    Wudl's Roster for MLB 2k12 || Version - BETA 0.4 (18th May 2013)
    NEW:
HUGE UPDATE! Changed all fake names in the minor leagues to real names. So this roster does not contain any fake players on the MLB franchises anymore. Sadly many of them still lack rating and face edits, but at
least their names, birth dates, positions, bat side and throw arms are correct. You can identify them when looking at their stars. Players that have more than two star potential have full edits,
those with 2 stars only have real names, birth dates, positions, bat side and throw arms.
Kept transactions and lineups up to date.
I tested a new rating system and already implemented it for the whole Giants organisation and the Dodgers 25-man roster. This work will be continued for all teams and every player.
    NOTE
Please download the following facepack addon with the new players:
    - Shelby Miller
    - Edward Mujica
    - Sergio Santos
    - Hyun-Jin Ryu
    Download it here: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=7890
In case you have already installed pack no. 1 you only need the smaller pack no. 2. You only have to unpack those files and extract them into your MLB 2k12 main directory.
The numbers are already correct in the roster.
I also recommend to download the newest jersey's and stadiums that were dropped by community members over the past few days. The respective color lists were already imported into my roster.

    Wudl's Roster for MLB 2k12 || Version - BETA 0.3.2 (12th May 2013)
    NEW:
I updated a ton of cyberface numbers. Every player that is on an MLB roster should now have a "real" face and not a generic one.
Changed a bunch of ratings of the players that are currently on the AL Central 25-man rosters to reflect the current performances (e.g. Anibal Sanchez or Alex Gordon up, Vance Worley or Adam Dunn down).
Changed Claiborne's and Grossman's name. Had misspelled them before.
    NOTE
I uploaded a pack with cyberfaces for my roster which should solve the "bald head syndrom" when you have installed them along with my roster.
You can find the pack here: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=7890
I strongly recommend the awesome jersey's made by Kccitystar. I have already included his color files into my roster so you won't have to install them. Simply download the jersey files and use my roster
and you are set. You can find his jersey's here: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?showuser=17
I also recommend to install the stadium mods made by dennisjames71. You can find them here: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?showuser=81619
And last but not least you could take a look into my generic cyberface pack: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=7397&st=10#commentsStart

    Wudl's Roster for MLB 2k12 || Version - BETA 0.3.1 (9th May 2013)
    NEW:
All transactions, lineup and rotation changes that were done since 3rd May 2013 were added.
Lineups and rotations are accurate as of 9th May 2013 using MLBdepthcharts.com as ressource. The injured players can be found at the minor league rosters.
The Angels now have a complete minor league roster with accurate rating for all batters and pitchers.
Changed a bunch of ratings of the players that are currently on the AL East 25-man rosters to reflect the current performances (e.g. rated David Price or R.A. Dickey down, rated Clay Buchholz or Manny Machado up).
    Changed some generic cyberfaces.
Edited more FA pitchers. As far as I can tell every FA pitcher with an overall rating above 67 should be edited (ratings, pitches, tendencies...).
Updated the current staffs for all MLB teams. Minor leagues and mangers without a job will follow.
    NOTE
I included two versions of my sliders. The old one is the one which was in the versions before and it was put in from all star. The new one was put in from legend and should play different/more difficult.

    Wudl's Roster for MLB 2k12 || Version - BETA 0.2.4 (3rd May 2013)
    NEW:
All transactions, lineup and rotation changes that were done since 25th April 2013 were added. Added missing players.
Lineups and rotations are accurate as of 3rd May 2013 using MLBdepthcharts.com as ressource. The injured players can be found at the minor league rosters.
The Dodgers (like the Yankees and Giants) got a complete minor league system consisting only of real players with accurate ratings.
Changed a bunch of ratings of players that are currently on the AL West 25-man rosters to reflect the current performances (e.g. rated Yu Darvish or Michael Morse up, rated Mike Trout or Josh Reddick down).
    Changed some generic cyberfaces.
Giants and Yankees have now rating edited minor leaguers.

    Wudl's Roster for MLB 2k12 || Version - BETA 0.2.3 (25th April 2013)
    NEW:
All transactions, lineup and rotation changes that were done since 18th April 2013 were added. Added missing players.
Lineups and rotations are accurate as of 25th April 2013 using MLBdepthcharts.com as ressource. The injured players can be found at the minor league rosters.
Edited some more FA pitchers. Most FA pitchers still have not been edited but I will go on doing them. Also edited some ratings of current major leaguers.
    Changed some cyberfaces.
Giants and Yankees have now rating edited minor leaguers.
Changed some batting stances of the Cubs, Mets. Rays (thx to DonkeyJote).

If you have problems with the new schedule please look into my thread or the related 2013 schedule thread. Those glitches can't be erased so we have to deal with them as long as we want to have the
    new schedule.

    Wudl's Roster for MLB 2k12 || Version - BETA 0.2.1 (18th April 2013)
    NEW:
All transactions, lineup and rotation changes that were done since 6th April 2013 were implemented. Added missing players like Michael Roth or Thad Weber.
Lineups and rotations are accurate as of 18th April 2013 using MLBdepthcharts.com as ressource. The injured players can be found at the minor league rosters.
Edited lots of free agents (ratings, positions, tendencies). Most pitchers are still lacking edits but I will go on doing them over the next few days. Also edited some ratings of current major leaguers.
    Changed some cyberfaces.
And since I got so many messages and requests for it: New schedule and Houston's switch to the AL West implemented.

    Wudl's Roster for MLB 2k12 || Version - BETA 0.1.9 (6th April 2013)
This is the version that contains all the players that are currently (04/06/2013) on the 40-man rosters of all teams!
The 25-man rosters should all be accurate. I have edited all lineups and pitching rotations (used mlbdepthcharts.com and mlb.com) and tried to do the latest transactions.
Injured players can be found in the minor leagues.
I have also created some top prospects for every team.
All those players have gotten rating/pitching/fielding/position/tendencies edits.
Many of the players already have gotten contract and service time
edits, but unfortunately not all! This will come with the later versions.
Some teams already have complete minor league system with real players. Those players lack all necessary edits.
Fake minor leaguers on the other teams can be identified via the potential stars: every fake minor leaguer who is on an MLB franchise or affiliate has only 2 stars potential!
I have not edited the FAs or managers yet.
This roster file also does not yet include the new schedule. I have not gotten into this topic right now, sorry.
But I will try to edit everything that is lacking in this version and provide you with future versions.
As a little gimmick I edited all players with "short" pants and gave them "baggies" since nearly no one plays with short pants nowadays.
I have also exchanged the Buffalo Bisons and the Las Vegas 51s and assigned them to their new Major League affiliates (Blue Jays and Mets).
I have given many players new face numbers from the generic cyber faces thread.
Also many players have the cyberface numbers that fit the downloadable cyberfaces you can find at mvpmods.com.
I recommend downloading nearly all available cyberfaces and jersey packs you can find @mvpmods.com!
And please download my package of the generic cyberfaces, too. It can alle be found in the mvpmods.com download section.

If you have any questions or if you find any mistakes (name spelling, other typos, wrong skintone, missing transactions and so on) please feel free to report me either via private message or my thread.

Here is the link to my thread:

    Instructions
    - simply put the roster file into your MLB 2k12 save folder and load the file ingame

    Vista/Windows 7: C:UsersUserNameAppDataRoaming2K SportsMajor League Baseball 2K12Saves
    - you should download all the available cyberfaces of the 2k12 community at mvpmods.com (I have already put the cyberface numbers into the roster, you won't have to change most of them)
    - you should download all the latest available jerseys of the 2k12 community at mvpmods.com
    - I have included my slider settings; playing with those works very well for me; I do not know if it works well with other slider settings; I also use auto-baserunning, user-fielding, no game calling (!)
and I play with classic pitching and classic hitting

    Credits go to
    - the mvpmods.com members that contributed in my thread to help me create some formulas for the edits
    - all the guys who supported me via private messages
    - DonkeyJote who will support me with batting stances
    - Raiders who will make portraits which will be compatible with my rosters

  19. MLB2k12 ULTIMATE ROSTER 2013 BETA

This is by no means a finished product, this is just the BETA version of the roster meant as a form of a preview of what is to come once the finalized roster is released. I have been working on this project for awhile now yet there is still MUCH work to be done, sorry for the delay but I am dedicating the majority of my time to this project and hope to have it completed ASAP!

Version 1 of the BETA includes the following:

-All Transactions up to March,14,2012 since the last MLB 2k12 Roster update.
    - No fake players (excluding the minor leaguers).
    - Real portraits for most fake players
    - Chronic Injuries for those players who are injured often and with lasting injuries.
    - Nicknames for players who have them to the best of my knowledge and based on study.
    - 2013 staff with updated years pro, ratings, and cyberfaces. (Please note that this is only for all the Major league staff and is based on extensive study of each coach, trainer, scout, etc.)
    - New Minor League Teams (This includes the switching of the Buffalo Bisons and Las Vegas 51's as well as the addition of the RailRiders and Reading Fightin Phils)
    - All ratings done for Angels, and Astros system as well as Athletics Major league roster.
    - Angels Minor League system, some Astros minor leaguers. (This includes, ratings, what the player wears, batting stances, and pitching stances.)
    - 2012 stats for Angels, Astros, and A's players.
    - Free Agent catchers career stats, free agent needs, potential, and ratings finished. (The only catcher I didn't do was Mike Redmond as I felt he didn't need them since he is coach of Miami in this game)
    - Potential for all real players have been given accurate ratings based on different aspects such as a value system I created based on Baseball Americas prospect value rankings which is used to detirmine rookies potential ratings. The potential ratings were done using number values in Ty's editor and not done in game with stars.
    - Records are updated (This means the career home run record now belongs to Barry Bonds for instance, as well as other records belonging to rightful owners. Some team records I was unable to do because there was no way to detirmine which record belonged to which teams for the ties. But for the most part records are updated!)

-All hidden batting stances/pitching styles have been included for rightful players as well as updated stances for players where needed.
    - Angels, Astros, and A's players have updated cyberfaces.(I'd reccommend downloading most of the cyberface mods on here as I have most downloaded and my roster has the players set to those faces so if you don't it's possible the player could show up totally different for you than it does for me.)
    - Contracts have been updated.

Still to come for later versions at later date:
    -Minor leaguers for all teams.
    -2013 schedule imported into Roster.
    - Double A and Single A managers
    - Ratings done for all players through all systems.
-2012 stats for all players, as well as career stats for all the converted fake players.
-Updated cyberfaces for generic cyberfaces for players on all other teams.

Special thanks goes out to Wudl for his calculator in which I used for input on some players or when I was having trouble detirmining ratings here and there and to the community for help with issues with different parts of roster. Another special thanks to the creator of Reditor Vlad for without Reditor alot of this would not be possible!

To put Roster in game locate your MLB 2k12 folder And place the roster in the saved game section, an alternate way is to load Ty's editor and where you can load a roster, drag the UltimateRoster2013.ROS file into there and Voila!

  23. Wudls roster AL East BETA

    WUDL's MLB 2k12 rating-edited roster
    """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
    10/16/12
    ********
This is my first AL East beta version of my MLB 2k12 roster project. Every roster/player/rating in the AL East
was changed. All other divisions weren't touched by now.
Every AL East team should have 25 players (13 position players, 12 pitchers). If you think there are some guys
lacking you will find them in the minors (mainly those that are/were on the DL).

I created some formulas in Excel to calculate the ratings for all players who had at least a special number
of at bats or a special number of IP. I used the export function of fangraphs.com, so every rating for those
players is calculated and not based on my likings. Also the pitches (including speed, movement and command) and
fielding ratings are calculated. I tried to assign all players realistic fielding abilities for much more
positions than 2k gave them, too.
I tried to find scouting reports for the minor leaguers and adjust the ratings as good as I can.

In my opinion the rating changes provide a far better gameplay experience. There shouldn't be too many
unrealistic ratings anymore. Also the (IMO) too big differences between good and bad should be gone and the prospects
should all have realistic potential numbers. Not every rookie is a 5-star potential. High numbers (which means
ratings above 90 or 5-star potential) should be the exception.

I hope some guys take a look into what I've done with the AL East. If you notice something completely wrong
please let me know it.I am also sorry that I can not provide you with faster updates. The editing of one
franchise takes about 5-6 hours of work. But nonetheless I am really willing to finish this project.

    THANKS
    ******
I have to give special thanks to BSU-Fan. Some time ago I talked to him about rosters and he allowed me to use
his No. 3 roster as a base for my work. Without his help it would be even more time consuming.
Also thanks to darth_mickrig, MissionMaximus, Qbrick808, olipoo and BSU-Fan (again ;-)) for the inspiring
discussions in my thread which helped me a lot to set up certain formulas.
Then thanks to Vlad and Ty for their editors.
And of course I want to thank all the modders and those members who contribute with suggestion and so on
in the forums, we got a really great community out there. The modding group has made the game a completely
    new experience.

  24. BSU-FAN'S NoFakeNames Roster

    BSU-FAN'S NoFakeNames5 ULTIMATE ROSTER

Special thanks to DonkeyJote for his help with hundreds of batting stances!

Also a big thanks to Kccitystar; his color file was used in this update.

Also want to thank Wudl83, DetroitStyle, ScottyBilly, dennisjames71, DonsPa, twnlove, and all of the other unmentioned modders who's hard works are helping make this game significantly better.

    NoFakeNames5.ros includes the following:

A massive overhaul to the EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!! ALL players currently in MLB, AAA, AA, and, A are now 100% REAL!!!!! With realistic player ratings and tendencies to go with it. The only fake players left on this roster are in Free Agency(about 25 of them) and they are rated so low you will clearly be able to set them apart from the real players.
ALL Player ratings and tendencies match the most recent 2K rosters
ALL MLB transactions/extensions current as of 8/23/2012
Fixed the Drew Smyly and Yu Darvish "red" pitch problem.
Accurate MLB batting orders/pitching rotations as of 8/23/2012
This roster is compatable with the most current Raidersbball's Mega Portrait Pack's or NoFakeNames packs. If you use the "Mega Portrait Pack" you will find missing portraits.
Includes all of BA's Americas Top 100 Prospects and each teams Top 20 Prospects!
100% REAL AAA , AA, and A players with accurate ratings and cyberfaces.
These rosters are meant to be used with all cyberfaces created and released on MVPmods.com Not all are faces released are in the game but to make sure you arent missing a face I would suggest downloading ALL of them so that way you know you are safe. You wont need to change any cyberface numbers on any faces released prior to 8/20/2012
Hundreds of "generic" cyberfaces have been edited to closer match the player in real life.
Added in tons of "hidden" cyberfaces to the correct players.
Corrected batting stances for countless players. Big thanks to DonkeyJote again!
Full ratings adjustment (MLB and AAA) accurate as of 8/20/12
Updated gear on many players and a few complete teams to this point.
Over 800 hours of editing total into this project. Enjoy!

Any injured MLB players can be found in AAA unless the player is out for the season in which case those players can be found in single A. Same works for an injured AAA or AA player...they will be found one level below as well. With the 40 man rosters right around the corner I didn't spend as much time in this release moving around minor league players.

*To install extract to one of the following locations:

    For WinXP users: C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\2K Sports\Major League Baseball 2K12\Saves

For Vista and Windows 7 users: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\Major League Baseball 2K12\Saves

Due to the enormous amount of work that has gone into this project I am placing a donation button below for those of you that appreciate my hard work and want to help counter some of the pains of doing a project like this with a small donation. It is definitely not expected and these rosters will always be 100% Free to download. I do ask however that you do not release any version of this roster without prior permission from me. I have a large amount of time and energy invested into this project and would like to see it keep this level of accuracy and legitimacy. Thanks again to all of you with your encouraging words in the forum over the past months. It has been a wild and crazy year of editing and I am happy to take a break for a while and actually play the game some. Thanks again everyone and I hope you guys enjoy. PLAY BALL!

If you enjoy my work and would like to leave a small donationtion click the "Donate" button above.
